The common in question has now fallen to baitworks boilies no less than 4 times in the last year! She can't resist!!

Mar 07 Carp go mad at Sparsholt!!
sparsholtfishcopy.jpg
Carp attacking the in-let pipe!!

Check out next months edition of Carpology, our bait features in the tank tests conducted by well respected angler Simon Scott. Baitworks Boilies scored the highest marks possible! Simon informs me that the fish were going bonkers 20mins after all the bait had gone!

The pic on the right shows carp fighting to get to the in-let pipe, Simon had placed a boilie in the filter system so the fish can only detect the signal and not see the bait in any way......Superb.

Pete Lay, Perfect Pellets.

Pete Lay continued his catching run when he visited a Oxford club water for a 24hr session. Using the new stick mix plus perfect pellets Pete notched up a 5 fish catch to 25lb+. There had only been one or two fish out over the whole winter/spring till Pete turned up! Well done Pete, great result......

Mar 07 Stick Mix to be released soon.

Baitworks Stick mix will be on sale soon, packed with high quality ingredients as well as the superb 2-part oil. More details to follow.

A busy weekend for me! Have been down to the Lea Valley to fish in the opening of one of there day ticket lakes, managed to blank on the 4hr fish-in!! Lucky I had Pete Lay with me who won it with 4-5 fish, plus the biggest fish in the lake at 25lb+!! All fish falling to the new stick mix and perfect pellets hookbaits. Then it was a mad dash

24.12com.jpg
24.12 common, Stick Mix + New Pellet Hookbaits

up to Linear on Friday night, I slotted myself in on St Johns at 7pm in the darkness. Nothing to report in the night but as soon as it was light I was moving and casting to showing fish, I managed 4 and lost one in a hectic couple of hours before other anglers woke up and the leads started to crash around the fish! They moved off!! This 24.12 common being the biggest of the day.

Mar 07 30 for Foxy.

31lb Atlantic Heat

Nathan has had a good Xmas judging from the photo! The porky Bristol Lad fished a short sharp 5 hr session up the Cotswolds, this 31lb common the end result.

Details thin on the ground as ever!! A water park fish none the less!!

Mar 07 Bang Bang

Another guy who cant stop catching the bigger fish is Ian Maccreedy.

ianmaccreedy34.jpg
34+ Atlantic Heat Pellets

Some of you may remember Ian catching Baitworks first 40 on his first session on the bait, back in 2005! Well, Ian works out of the country for a large percentage of the year, when he does comes back to visit, he only manages to get a little fishing while seeing his wife and kids.

32.02ianmmcreddy.jpg
32+ 1st session!

On only two visits to a small day ticket lake he manages to bag both of the biggest residents! 32 first trip, 34 the next!! This is the second time that the big girl has been out to the Atlantic Heat. The other residents are on there 3rd or 4th capture on my products........

Well done Ian, top result.

Wink Wink!
I will start to post up Mr Bunyan's captures soon, when i do

Horseshoe lake the venue this time. Lee put the Atlantic Heat to good effect on his first session at the 'Shoe'. Fishing 2kgs of 15mms to open water marks, Lee recorded three fish in total when not much else was caught round the lake. This 27lb+ was the cream of the crop.

Feb 07 Come on !!!!!

Sitting it out for a biggie.

Feb 07 First Cast...PB!!

2 hours in !! Monster Red.......Awesome

Adi Adams opened his Baitworks account with this massive 34lb+ personal best common!! Having made the switch to Baitworks, I said to Adi that most people hit the ground running, Adi done that and then some!

The Bristol angler tackled a syndicate water in Oxford with the mighty Monster Red (first time using the bait and first time the M.R has been used at the venue.). Using a four bait stringer soaked in M.R dip, Adi cast out just before dark on his quick over night session......2 hours later and this peach is laying in his landing net!! get in.

Well done Adi, top result.

Feb 07 The start of Spring.
springshot.jpg
The buds are out on a new and up and coming Cotswold Venue.

Spring is now well on its way, light levels are increasing and already the big fish are starting to wake up and look for food!! With the increase of orders this week it will not be long until I'm resigned to the rolling tables once more for the summer!! Hell, I'd better get my fishing in before the rush.......Looking out side today I can see a light frost but worry not, these fish are going to feed, simple as that. Good luck to you all.

Feb 07 Baitworks display

The calm before the storm!!

A big thank you to everyone that came and showed there support for the Jim Shelley evening. With massive interest in the stall as well as selling lots of bait the night was a huge success. This was Baitworks first public display and judging from the reception it will not be the last. I almost sold out of a few items but luckily my girlfriend was on hand to nip to the Unit for more stock.

A very interesting talk from Mr Shelley, particularly on Wraysbury No.1, shame Phil Bunyan couldn't attend but he's off doing his thing (more on that soon). With the Monster Red on sale and for all to see and taste it was no suprise to here the local Curry house down the road was packed after the show!! not just the carp that are triggered into feeding!!!!!LOL...................It was nice to catch up with some people that I haven't seen for a while and hope to stay in contact through the year.

Once again, thank you.

Feb 07 Quickie

Jan 07 Another one for Tom And Dan.

Monster Red low 20.

Tom and Dan fished a private Cotswold trout venue to record these two fish. Atlantic Heat and Monster Red pop ups proved to be the winning combo in the now freezing conditions. Fishing open water at 60 yard to a silt patch, Tom and Dan only fished a short over night session for their result.

Well done lads.
