Seeing the lakes are still solid I decided to pop back to Bristol to catch up with me old mucker James Ellis and his girlfriend Shannon. They were both visiting the UK from Boston USA. Great to catch up and enjoy a beer or four!!
I didn’t feel to good in the morning but put that down to a dodgy kebab a 2am.

You can tell we have loads of time on our hands!! Walking the local lakes we decided to make our own carp.
Hands are very, very cold….brrrrrr
Think i am not alone in wishing this cold weather to be over. There is only so much TV and nights in one man can take!! On a positive note, the day light hours are increasing each week so it will not be long till the fish are up and about after this savage winter. Should be a busy few days for me as im out and about looking at production devices for the company. Should have some news shortly.

With the Arctic conditions now sweeping the country it looks like my fishing and many others has come to a abrupt end for the next week or so! I did manage to get some pre-bait into a couple of lakes just on the eve of the big freeze so as I type I’m confident I have some bait in the water and hopefully working its magic for when the liquid returns. Until then its out with the dog for countless walks until the situation changes.
